Text Books for Poor Children
Donating New Textbooks for economically poor students.
Books are the most important asset for a student, and they have value beyond their monetary worth. But many poor students from economically weaker sections of the population are not able to afford the cost of buying new textbooks. And so they don’t buy textbooks and as a result, perform poorly in academics.
Books are the best tools to improve education and literacy levels in the country. If we want to spread literacy and educate the poorest of the poor students in the country, we need to provide free books to all those underprivileged students who are not able to buy these textbooks.
CS CHARITY has been working in Villages and in Urban Slums, on identifying such poor students, especially in Government Schools. Poor Students once identified are given free textbooks by CS CHARITY.
CS Charity requests donors, whose children are studying in primary school to donate the books of their children, every year to CS Charity so that, we could, in turn, donate these textbooks to poor students.
If many parents can take up this kind of textbook donation every year many poor children could get benefitted.
Instead of throwing off your old books or selling them as junk, you can donate these books to CS Charity. Your used books can make a big difference in the lives of poor students. We will gladly accept your used textbook donations which we in turn can donate to poor students and help them get become literate and get their education.
