Empowering Indian Farmers to Grow & Sustain
CS Charity Trust works towards helping the needy and poor farmers in India.
Our trust aims at empowering the needy and poor farmers of rural India in growing & sustaining their crops more efficiently.
Our Farmers Support Program is one such project which aims to reduce the number of farmer suicides and support them in developing a high quality of life and improving their living standards.
We work with rural farm and nonfarm-based communities in providing sustainable agriculture livelihood development and economic empowerment of farmers.
We also provide other livelihood opportunities for those who are in need of financial support.
There are millions of small farmers in India and a large number of them leave agriculture and start working as urban labor, this could endanger the food and livelihood security of our country.
CS Charity Trust organizes awareness programs on farmers’ rights and teaches them sustainable farming methods. The NGO works to improve the quality of life of farming communities.
CS Charity Trust is currently running a campaign called “Save Farmers” which aims to raise awareness about the plight of Indian farmers, who are facing many challenges like rising debt, lack of infrastructure and remunerative prices for their produce.
